INTRODUCING CHARLIE
Charlie’s career began with her formal education, studying photography before moving to Australia to complete her degree, an experience that helped her to forge her clean, distinctive style. Returning to Manchester, Charlie’s established her own company, Wambam Photography, carving out a space in the creative industry here in the North-West, whilst continuing to operate both nationally and internationally on a wealth of projects.
STYLE & INSPIRATION
Skilled in shooting with both natural light and flash, Charlie finds inspiration in all light sources. Be it framing faces in studio photography or capturing golden hour in spectacular landscapes, light remains a distinguishing characteristic of Charlie’s work. Her style is notably based around capturing the best in people, but other creative projects – such as still life and product photography – still have her reaching for the lens.
APPROACH & EXPERIENCE
Charlie’s education and experience contributes to her range of projects: studying Photography on Australia’s Gold Coast enabled her to learn her craft in an international setting, bringing this knowledge back to Manchester where she has spent twelve years refining her approach to ensure the best of both worlds. Her extensive experience means she can guide clients from a project’s inception; equally, she can understand a client’s own vision and work to bring it to life. In short, Charlie can have as much or as little involvement as you feel you need, making sure you are confident and at ease throughout every step of your photoshoot.
